Overview

ARO air-operated flat-valve diaphragm pumps offer efficient flow rates of up to 651 l/min. This 2” flap valve pump is designed with a top inlet. It is ideal for abrasive products containing large-diameter particles using gravity. Conventional pumps with a bottom inlet have to fight gravity, which causes particles to deposit and clog the pump.
ARO pumps with flap valves are designed to handle stringy, fibrous materials, bulky solids (suspended or not), abrasive products, slurries and other applications less suited to pumps with ball valves.
On the other hand, the ARO stall-free differential valve prevents the valve from being positioned centrally, thus stopping the pump.
Pumps with flap valves are useful for feeding filter presses, waste treatment, dewatering, transferring filled materials and a variety of other demanding applications

Features

  • Able to handle 2″ semi-solids and 3/4′ solid materials.
  • Available in three different construction materials including Aluminum, Cast Iron or Stainless Steel with the option of Plated Steel or Stainless Steel hardware
  • Efficiency – Simul-Shift™ valve provides ultra-positive, reliable shift signal
  • Reliability – ARO’s patented ‘Unbalanced’ air valve ensures no-stall operation
