Conical Strainers

Conical, also known as temporary strainers are a very low cost way of protecting process equipment against damage caused by contamination that is often present during the start-up and commissioning of new plant.

Conical Strainers

Conical strainers are designed for temporary use, to be thrown away after initial cleaning of the system.

The downside to a Conical Strainer is they are sandwiched between two flanges, therefore require an accessible section of pipe to remove them. e.g removable spool pieces.

Conical strainers can be manufactured in a range of different configurations to suit your specific requirements, including size, length, filtration level, etc.
